Experience

Art has been my constant for more than thirty years. Beginning with printmaking and sculpture, my path shifted in the late 90s toward digital media - where colour, light, and nuance now shape the core of my work. Educated at Bretton Hall College, University of Leeds (BA Hons and MA Fine Art), I bring not only artistic discipline but lived experience: a lifetime of skills, some far from the studio, yet every one woven into the fabric of creation.

Style

Drawing from a fusion of traditional methods and digital expertise, I create fine art that commands attention through its interplay of colour and light. My goal is to craft visually engaging pieces that spark connection, emotion, and lasting impact.

Process

I work intuitively, without predefined vision, capturing spontaneous scenes using my iPhone - whether in natural environments or unexpected locations. I begin shaping the image immediately, preserving it in the cloud for later refinement. From rapid 30-minute sketches to layered, time-intensive compositions, each piece reflects an evolving dialogue between medium and stimulation.

My iPhone serves as my sketchbook - a digital canvas for my artistic instinct.
