Bridge introduced autobiographical geography. Created after an Invite from David Walker‑Barker’s LAND2 project, the work connected my London origins and fine art education in the North. It marked the first moment when place, memory and personal history entered the practice explicitly. Bridge became a hinge, a recognition that surfaces do not only hold material history but personal lineage.

'Bridge' No14
A visual dialogue crossing South and North, not geography, but emotional terrain. Each piece explores how colour behaves at the edges, how form echoes passage, how memory suspends itself mid-journey.
